Hi, I'm a hobbyist reptile breeder in the Bay Area. I established De Novo Gecko ~2021 while I was struggling with graduate school and needed distraction from my own life. "De novo" is Latin for "anew", which to me captures the awe of watching the emergence of tiny, new lives and the hope of cultivating something new in the reptile community. Although I've kept many different species over the years, I have a special appreciation for New Caledonian geckos, especially crested geckos and chahoua. I specialize in tricolor and white wall crested geckos as well as pink and pastel chahouas. Interested in reaching out to me about availability, collaborations, or questions?
